What it does
Tasqs is a task manager built on an honest idea: not everything on your list deserves to survive. Most apps just help you capture more. Tasqs helps you finish, shrink, or let go. Friday Amnesty is a weekly ritual for the tasks you keep rescheduling; the Shortlist caps your day at five. Plus tags, recurring tasks, an AI assistant, and a connector to run your tasks from ChatGPT or Claude. Private by design: no ads, no data selling. Free to start, from a founder tired of to-do list guilt.

Anyone who's not satisfied with their current Task Manager / To-Do List App
I didn’t go looking for a market. I went looking for a fix to my own problem, and then realized the problem was the market’s. Every task app I tried, and I tried most of them, optimized for the same thing: making it easier to add tasks. That’s a sensible metric if you measure engagement, because a longer list looks like more use. But it’s the opposite of what helps a person. Easier capture means a longer list, a longer list means more things you’ll never do, and the guilt of scrolling past them every morning is the actual experience of using these products. Nobody was building for the moment a task should die. That gap is small to describe and enormous to live inside, and I think it’s the reason task-management churn is so high: people don’t leave because the app is bad, they leave because the list became unbearable.
