Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2, 2026
These Terms of Service explain the rules for using Crowdstax. Crowdstax is a launch, discovery, ranking, forum, media, and product submission platform for internet builders, startups, tools, creator-led projects, and builder communities.
By accessing or using Crowdstax, creating an account, submitting content, posting in the community, subscribing to updates, or contacting us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Crowdstax.
Who may use Crowdstax
You may use Crowdstax only if you can follow these terms and applicable laws. Crowdstax is not intended for children under 13. If you use Crowdstax on behalf of a company, product team, client, or organization, you represent that you have authority to do so.
Accounts and account security
Some Crowdstax features may require an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, for keeping login credentials secure, and for activity that occurs through your account. Notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
We may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts where practical or necessary for abuse prevention, security, legal compliance, moderation, or platform integrity.
Crowdstax services and public surfaces
Crowdstax may include public pages, product submissions, product listings, launches, categories, launch tags, rankings, forums, comments, reviews, reactions, votes, badges, profiles, newsletters, advertising pages, sponsorship inquiry flows, and media or editorial content. Features may change over time, and not every feature will be available to every user or in every context.
User-generated content
You are responsible for content you submit, upload, post, publish, link to, or otherwise provide to Crowdstax. This may include product information, logos, screenshots, URLs, descriptions, comments, forum posts, profile details, team attribution, launch materials, reports, advertising inquiries, article submissions, and other materials.
You represent that you have the rights, permissions, and authority needed to submit your content and that your content does not violate the rights of others, mislead users, break the law, or violate these terms.
License you grant to Crowdstax
You retain ownership of your own submitted content, subject to the license in this section. Crowdstax does not claim ownership of submitted products themselves.
By submitting content to Crowdstax, you grant Crowdstax a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, distribute, adapt, excerpt, index, promote, rank, categorize, moderate, and otherwise use that content as needed to operate, market, secure, analyze, and improve Crowdstax. This includes using public content in product pages, launch pages, rankings, newsletters, social previews, search indexing, editorial coverage, advertising surfaces, and other discovery experiences.
Editorial, moderation, and ranking discretion
Crowdstax may edit, reject, remove, archive, moderate, reclassify, tag, rank, feature, demote, decline, or add context to content depending on quality, relevance, safety, accuracy, policy compliance, product fit, legal concerns, platform integrity, or operational needs.
Submission does not guarantee publication. Publication does not guarantee ranking, traffic, visibility, votes, comments, revenue, customers, funding, investment, press coverage, or any other business outcome. Rankings, votes, comments, badges, product labels, and discovery surfaces are informational, may be automated or manually adjusted, and may change over time.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use Crowdstax to:
- Send spam, scrape abusively, overload systems, or interfere with platform operation.
- Create fake accounts, fake votes, fake reviews, fake comments, fake makers, or fake engagement.
- Manipulate rankings, votes, comments, reports, reviews, badges, or discovery surfaces.
- Use undisclosed incentives, deceptive promotion, astroturfing, or misleading endorsements.
- Harass, threaten, impersonate, dox, abuse, or target people or organizations.
- Submit unlawful, infringing, defamatory, fraudulent, malicious, exploitative, or unsafe content.
- Upload malware, phishing content, malicious links, or content designed to compromise users or systems.
- Violate intellectual property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or contractual rights.

Intellectual property
Crowdstax owns its platform, brand, design, code, original editorial content, graphics, workflows, and other materials we create, except where third-party rights apply. You may not copy, misuse, or imply endorsement by Crowdstax without permission.
Users retain ownership of their submitted content and products, subject to the rights granted to Crowdstax and any rights granted to others through public posting, links, or third-party services.
Copyright and takedown requests
Copyright owners or authorized representatives may report alleged infringement through the contact page or by emailing support@crowdstax.com. Please include the Crowdstax URL, a description of the copyrighted work, your ownership or authorization, a description of the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized.
Depending on the circumstances, Crowdstax may remove, restrict, disable, or preserve content while reviewing a request. We may also restrict or terminate accounts that repeatedly infringe rights where appropriate.
Advertising, sponsorships, affiliates, and newsletters
Crowdstax may offer paid placements, sponsored content, promoted products, ads, affiliate or partner links, sponsored newsletter content, and campaign measurement. Sponsored or promoted content should be disclosed where practical. Payment does not guarantee organic ranking, editorial endorsement, votes, comments, traffic, revenue, or business outcomes unless a specific written agreement states otherwise. Newsletter participation is optional and separate from necessary account, security, moderation, legal, or service-related notices.
No professional advice
Crowdstax content is informational and educational only. It is not legal, tax, financial, investment, security, medical, employment, business, or other professional advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and should consult qualified professionals when appropriate.
Third-party links, products, and claims
Crowdstax links to third-party websites, products, tools, communities, newsletters, and services. We are not responsible for third-party claims, pricing, availability, security, support, policies, conduct, or content. Review third-party terms and privacy policies before using them.
Beta and evolving features
Crowdstax is an evolving platform. Features may change, break, be removed, be unavailable, or work differently than expected. We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit parts of the service at any time.
Privacy and accessibility
Our Privacy Policy explains how Crowdstax handles information. Our Privacy Choices page explains privacy request and preference options. Our Accessibility Statement explains our accessibility target and how to report barriers.
Termination and suspension
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to accounts, submissions, content, or features for violations of these terms, suspected abuse, security risks, legal reasons, repeated low-quality behavior, platform integrity, or other circumstances where action is appropriate.
Disclaimers
Crowdstax is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, we do not make warranties about uptime, accuracy, completeness, rankings, visibility, security, availability, content, third-party links, or business outcomes.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Crowdstax and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost opportunities, lost goodwill, or business interruption arising from use of the service. Some laws do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You are responsible for claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your submissions, misuse of Crowdstax, violation of these terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person's rights. We may ask you to cooperate in the defense of such claims where appropriate.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Crowdstax evolves. The "Last updated" date shows when the terms were last revised. Continued use of Crowdstax after updates means you accept the updated terms.
