What it does
A black box drawn in most PDF editors only covers text. The words remain in the file and can still be selected, copied or searched. InkOut PDF is a web app that removes the covered content in your browser and then checks its own output before you download it. You open a PDF on the site, with nothing to install and no account needed for free use. You draw boxes over what should be removed; with Pro you can also search for a word or number and mark every match. On export, each redacted page is rebuilt as an image with the boxes burned in, so the content under each box is deleted rather than hidden.
